Brindis por Reykjavik se da lugar en el popular bar-cervecería Bryggjan Brugghús, uno de los más importantes de la ciudad, conocido por sus cervezas tradicionales y su ambiente perfecto para fusionarse con la cultura islandesa.

El tour comienza cuando el guía te cuenta la historia de las cervezas islandesas y el proceso de elaboración de las nuevas cervezas tradicionales, además de curiosidades sobre el estilo de vida de la ciudad, sus costumbres y su perfecta adaptación al medio. Además, te ofrecerá consejos sobre viajar y disfrutar de Islandia.

Durante toda la actividad, al mismo tiempo de estar disfrutando de los relatos del guía, saborearás al menos 6 tipos de cerveza combinadas con 6 tipos de comida islandesa en formato “tapas”.

¿Qué vas a degustar?

Los platos típicos islandeses se componen de pez fresco (capturado esa misma mañana) proveniente de un muelle próximo al bar, a escasos metros. Además de cordero islandés, una carne como nunca has probado, ya que el cordero en Islandia deambula salvajemente por las montañas.

Por otro lado, de entre las cervezas a degustar recomendamos especialmente:

  • Freyja (estilo Witbier belga): cerveza de trigo con un sabor ligeramente cítrico. Combina con platos ligeros de pescado, ensaladas y pasta.
  • Skjálfti cerveza dorada con una pizca de caramelo. Marida perfectamente con pescado, pasta y carne blanca.
  • Móri: con un peculiar color rubí claro, sabor malta tostada y caramelo con un ligero toque de cítrico, todas estas cualidades la hacen perfecta para acompañar a un delicioso bistec, barbacoa y en general, carnes rojas.

Presta atención a las curiosas historias que esconden estas cervezas. Todas cuentan con un relato que te harán apreciar todavía más el buen sabor de esta bebida elaborada de forma tradicional.
